Who it is for / Cleaners and cleaning companies

An AI receptionist for cleaners and cleaning companies.

You cannot take a call with a hoover running. While You Work answers the calls you miss in your business name, finds out what cleaning the caller needs, where and when, and texts you the details a minute later.

Founding members pay £49 and their line switches on as soon as they finish the set-up form. The first week on a live line is free.

On every call

What your receptionist asks

  • What cleaning they need, in their own words
  • Whether they are a new or an existing customer
  • When they need it
  • Their postcode or area
  • The best number to ring back, read back to check it

Urgent jobs

Short-notice jobs go to the top

  • A clean needed today
  • A problem with a clean you have already done
  • A caller who says it cannot wait

Your prices are only given if you have set them. Otherwise callers are told you will quote.

What callers hear

An example call, word for word

The receptionist asks one thing at a time, checks the number back and never makes up a price. The details reach you by email a minute after the call, and by text straight away when it is urgent.

What reaches you

Helen (new customer), 07700 900614, BH14 Parkstone. End of tenancy clean, two-bed flat, keys back Friday.

Receptionist: Hi, you’re through to Sparkle Cleaning. Jo can’t get to the phone right now, but I can take your details so she can get back to you. Calls are recorded so nothing gets missed. What’s your name?

Caller: Hi, it’s Helen. I need an end of tenancy clean for a two-bed flat. We hand the keys back on Friday.

Receptionist: Thanks, Helen. Have you used Sparkle Cleaning before?

Caller: No, first time.

Receptionist: What’s the postcode of the flat?

Caller: BH14, in Parkstone.

Receptionist: And what’s the best number for Jo to ring you on?

Caller: 07700 900 614.

Receptionist: So that’s 07700 900 614. Is that right?

Caller: Yes, that’s it.

Receptionist: Thanks, Helen. Jo will ring you back about a quote, and I’m sending you a text now to confirm.

Set up

Three steps, and you keep your number

  1. Tell us about your business

A short form made for cleaners:

    • Your business name and first name
    • Opening hours and where you are
    • What your business does, in plain words
    • Your prices, only if you want callers told
    • Your booking or cancellation policy
    • Whether customers ever need you urgently
    • Anything else callers should know
  2. Switch on divert

One code on your mobile sends calls you do not answer within 20 seconds to your While You Work line. Turn it off whenever you like.

  3. Get the details in a minute

Every caller is greeted in your business name. You get the details a minute later, and the caller gets a text saying you will ring back.

Questions

Questions from cleaners

Will it quote for jobs?

No. It gives your prices if you have set them and the caller asks, and otherwise says you will quote. It never makes up a price.

Can it book cleans into my diary?

Yes, with the Voice Booking and Pay module. It offers the caller your real free times, books the clean and texts them a confirmation, with your deposit link if you take deposits. Without the module it takes the details and tells the caller you will ring back.

Does it take commercial cleaning enquiries?

Yes. Offices, shops and one-off commercial cleans are taken the same way: what needs cleaning, where, when and the best number to ring back.

Will customers know it is not me?

It answers in your business name with a natural British voice. If someone asks, it says it is your automated assistant and carries on taking the details.

How much does it cost?

£49 a month including VAT for founding members, locked for as long as you stay, with no contract and the first week free once your line is live.
