Who it is for / Builders
Quote requests come in while you are on the tools, and the one you miss is often the big one. While You Work answers in your business name, takes the job, the address and the timescale, filters sales calls, and texts you a tidy enquiry you can ring back at the end of the day.
Founding members pay £49 now and get their first week free once their line is live. Lines go live by 31 October 2026, or a full refund.

On every call
Urgent jobs
Most building enquiries are quotes, so the text you get says when the caller wants to start and when is best to ring.
What callers hear
The receptionist asks one thing at a time, checks the number back and never makes up a price. The job reaches you by text a minute after the call.
The text you get
QUOTE. Priya, 07700 900731, M20 Didsbury. Single-storey rear extension, plans and planning approved, wants to start in spring. Ring after 5pm.
Receptionist: Hi, you’re through to Hughes Building. Gareth’s on site at the moment, but I can take your details so he can ring you back. Can I take your name?
Caller: It’s Priya. We’re looking to get a quote for a single-storey extension at the back.
Receptionist: Thanks, Priya. Do you have plans drawn up yet?
Caller: Yes, the plans are done and we’ve had planning approved.
Receptionist: That’s good to hear. When are you hoping to start, roughly?
Caller: Ideally in the spring.
Receptionist: And whereabouts is the property?
Caller: M20, in Didsbury.
Receptionist: What’s the best number for Gareth to ring you on, and is there a good time?
Caller: 07700 900 731, any time after five.
Receptionist: So that’s 07700 900 731, after five. Is that right?
Caller: That’s right.
Receptionist: Thanks, Priya. Gareth will ring you back to talk it through, and I’m sending you a text now to confirm.
