We provide an automated telephone answering service. Calls diverted to the number we allocate you are answered by an automated voice assistant that collects the caller's details and message, sends you a summary by email and, on plans that include text alerts, by text for urgent calls or every call if you choose, and can send the caller a confirmation text. The assistant tells every caller that it is an automated assistant and that the call is recorded. The service is for business use by sole traders and small businesses in the United Kingdom. When you buy, you confirm that you are buying for your business, not as a consumer.
The service is a subscription, paid monthly or yearly and started when you pay at checkout. There are three plans: Starter at £39 a month for 50 calls, Pro at £69 a month for 150 calls and Business at £129 a month for 400 calls, all plus VAT. What each plan includes is on our pricing page. Founding offer: the first 50 businesses in the UK to join get the Pro plan at £49 a month plus VAT for their first 12 months, after which the normal Pro price applies. On the Business plan a second location costs half the Business price. Your service starts when you have completed the set-up form and we have connected your line, which usually happens within minutes. If you cancel before your line is connected, we refund your first payment in full. If you joined before 26 October 2026, you keep the price and plan you joined on.
The service is billed in advance by card through our payment provider, monthly or, if you choose, yearly at ten times the monthly price. Money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 14 days from the day your line goes live, we refund your first payment in full. Extra calls over your plan's monthly allowance are charged at your plan's rate (60p on Starter, 50p on Pro, 40p on Business, plus VAT) on your next bill. Prices are shown before VAT, which is added at 20%. We may change our prices with 30 days' notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and the founding price is held for your first 12 months.
Referrals: if a business you refer with your own referral link from your dashboard becomes a customer, and its line has been live for 7 days and it is still a customer, we add a credit worth one month of your plan to your account, and a credit worth one month of its plan to its account. Credits come off future payments, have no cash value and are not refunded if you cancel. Referring yourself, another location of your own business, or a business that cancels for a refund under the money-back guarantee earns no credit.
Some plans include more than phone answering. Website chat (Pro and Business) answers visitors on your website. Email replies (Business) to customer enquiries that arrive in the inbox you connect, from that inbox and in your business's name; other email is left untouched. Facebook and Instagram replies (Business) answer messages on the Facebook Page and Instagram account you connect. Diary booking (Business) offers callers free times from the diary you connect, books them in, texts a confirmation and, if you set one, your own deposit link: deposits are paid to you through your own payment provider and we never hold your money. Replies on every channel are written by an automated assistant from the information you give us, and you can step in on any conversation from your dashboard. You are responsible for the information, prices and booking rules you give us and for telling your customers that you use an automated assistant where the law requires it. These terms, including the limits in section 9, apply to every channel in the same way as to calls.
The service cannot connect anyone to the emergency services and must not be relied on for calls where someone's safety is at risk. The assistant tells callers who are in immediate danger to ring 999, and callers who can smell gas to ring the National Gas Emergency line on 0800 111 999, before taking their details.
Each plan includes a number of answered calls a calendar month: 50 on Starter, 150 on Pro and 400 on Business. A call counts once however long it lasts, up to 10 minutes. Calls over the allowance are still answered and are charged as set out in section 4.
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. See our refund and cancellation policy.
You must give us accurate information about your business, keep it up to date, and only use the service for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for configuring call divert on your own phone and for any charges from your mobile provider for diverted calls. You must not use the service to collect payment card details or other information you are not entitled to collect.
Acceptable use: you must not use the service for medical or health triage or to collect health or other special category information; for services regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority where you are required to record or handle calls in a particular way; for services aimed at children; to give legal advice; to make or support unlawful marketing; or to mislead callers. If your business is regulated or your callers are likely to share sensitive information, contact us before you use the service.
Calls are recorded and transcribed to provide the service. Callers are told at the start of the call. You are the data controller for your callers' personal data and we act as your processor under our data processing terms, which form part of these terms. The kinds of provider we use are described on our sub-processors page, and we send the name of each on request, and our privacy notice explains how we handle our own customers' data. Recordings are deleted after 30 days and transcripts after 12 months unless you delete them sooner.
We aim for the service to be available at all times but cannot guarantee it. The assistant may occasionally mishear or misrecord a detail. You should confirm important details with the caller. We are not liable for loss of business arising from a missed or misrecorded call, message or booking, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Our complaints procedure explains how to raise a complaint and what happens next. To the extent that any Ofcom General Conditions apply to the service, you agree that our complaints procedure applies and that we do not need to give you a separate contract summary before you buy.
We may update these terms and will give you at least 14 days' notice by email of any material change. We may suspend or end the service for misuse, non-payment or where required by law, refunding any unused whole months already paid.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
